Sometimes being new is a little intimidating snf we don’t want it to be! Integrity Martial Arts is a dojang filled with fun and encouraging families who love the art of Tae Kwon Do. Below is a short primer on how to behave at IMA.
General Conduct For Students
- Show respect and be polite to everyone at Integrity Martial Arts.
- When entering and leaving the workout floor, bow for 3 seconds.
- Say: “Yes, Sir” and “Yes, Ma’am” to instructors.
- No chewing gum or socks are allowed on the mat. No electronics are to be used by students while waiting for siblings or parents during class. Homework is acceptable use of electronics inside the dojang.
- Adult students and senior belts are to set a good example for lower belts.
- The mats and workout bags are for working out, the carpeted area is for conversing.
- During class opening and closing, all students should stand in attention position to show respect to other students.

- Student: Move to attention position
- Instructor: Student Creed!
- Student: Says Student Creed
To End Class:
- Instructor: Class Chario!
- Student: Move to attention position
- Instructor: Kyoung Nay!: (Bow for respect)
- Student: Bow for 3 seconds
- Instructor Turns: Kyoung Nay!: (Bow for respect)
- Student: Bow for 3 seconds
- Instructor: Achieve! ( student repeats)
- Instructor: Believe! ( student repeats)
- Instructor: Succeed! ( student repeats)
