Integrity Martial Arts opened in 2003 and has continued to grow and expand, eventually adding our after-school programs and on-location self-defense programs. We attribute much of our success to teaching, and living by our creed:

Integrity Martial Arts has a Taekwondo studio in Laurel, MD,  that utilizes an integrated approach to Martial Arts, where fitness, martial arts, and good health are all very important. In addition, we don’t just talk about teaching the character qualities of respect, courage, perseverance, and self-control. Our programs are designed with these elements at the core so that the positive self-esteem developed by the students is not superficial, but real and lasting.

Integrity Martial Arts offers programs in Taekwondo for all age groups. We do not believe in the “one size fits all” concept. Each student is challenged at his / her own skill and age level. Students learn the 3 Key Elements of Goal Setting as a natural part of their experience at Integrity Martial Arts because of our belt and stripe system. School-age students learn that earning straight A’s at school is not only within their capabilities, that it is their responsibility to work towards straight A’s and we teach the formula by which many of our students have achieved straight A’s. School-age students also learn that they must be consistent in their behavior at home, school, and at Integrity Martial Arts in order to progress to new levels.

Adults are motivated to be the best that they can be in the workplace and at home. They learn that the basics are the key to success.  Adults learn that the Integrity Martial Arts system has 26 Basics, and to focus on becoming an expert at the basics. Most adults want to feel fit, feel safe, and have less stress. Integrity Martial Arts offers these key benefits as a byproduct of a focused martial arts program.
