I often hear people say Karate when they mean Tae Kwon Do. I have friends who have known me for years and still ask me how my Karate practice is going. And, it is okay… mostly. I understand they mean: “How is your Taekwondo martial arts class going?” This small discrepancy got me thinking and researching and I found an article that goes into detail about the differences.
